Kick off your memorial day weekend and ring in the summer festivities with this concert which showcases two Franklin-local musical acts! Join The Gin Dogs and The Franklin Underground for an evening of grooves that is sure to leave an impact.

Bio: The Gin Dogs have been playing their blend of classic rock, blues & country-style original music since the early 2000's. They have played to packed houses all over New England, are regularly booked for weddings, and even travelled to The Netherlands in 2016 for a three-week tour. Drawing on the influence of notable artists like the Allman Brothers, CCR, The Rolling Stones, John Denver and The Beatles, The Gin Dogs routinely put on performances of original songs mixed with covers of classic songs by their favorite bands. Lead singer Stephanie Lavoie's impressive vocal capabilities are well complimented by an incredibly talented group of musicians that make every show worth attending! 

The Franklin Underground has been performing together since 2017, and was nominated by The New England Music Awards as 'Best New Act' in 2019. They have taken the stage in some of Boston's most popular live music venues, including The Paradise and The House Of Blues, and regularly make appearances at The Middle East and The Hard Rock Cafe. They were also invited to play at Sunday River's Fall festival in October of 2019. The Franklin Underground is born from a love of infectious grooves and the desire to put on a great show, and each member is driven to create soulful & energetic music. The group features a unique sound at the intersection of its members’ roots in funk, jazz, blues, rock and progressive & alternative trends. Their music is often described as "infectiously groovy", and carries a unique energy which makes each performance by The Franklin Underground one to remember.
